LISA HELMERS is a nationally certified personal trainer with over a decade of experience, sculpting the physiques of both men and women, athletes to executives, teens to seniors. Lisa's approach to fitness comes from her original background as a group fitness instructor with a national certification from Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFFA), holding specialty certifications in Pilates, Keiser indoor group cycling, and the SilverSneakers® fitness program for older adults. With her extensive knowledge she designs a workout to enhance physical endurance, speed and strength through specific functional movements. Lisa delivers an incredibly diverse and unique style to the club with a high energy, high intensity, multi-functional, circuit training approach to personal training. She aspires to share her passion for fitness with people of all levels and to test their limits to achieve the body's genetic potential for maximum results.
MARIA ARANA is one of IB Fitness' finest, her passion for fitness originates from a career as an AFAA (Aerobics and Fitness Association of America) certified group fitness instructor. Behind her petite frame is a powerhouse of hard work and dedication and with her contaigious smile she will motivate you to achieve your peak physical performance. In addition, Maria also holds a personal trainer certification with ACE (American Council on Exercise). Maria let her love of exercise draw her to IB Fitness and her exposure to the classes led her to the idea of making a career out of helping others to educate them and fine-tune their physical fundamentals. To pursue her passion even further, Maria attended Southwestern College and completed the advanced fitness specialist program. She gained hands-on field experience while working with athletes as well as older populations at Fitness Quest 10. Maria's devotion to helping others inspired her to immerse herself into the fitness industry by completing certifications in kickboxing, Keiser indoor cycling, Mat Pilates and she is a instructor coordinator for the SilverSneakers® fitness program for older adults. Maria specializes in all populations to enhance flexibility, agility, core stabilization and resistance training.
CARL THIESSEN has been a personal trainer for the past 9 years. He got his start in the fitness industry when his love for snowboarding taught him that a strong, flexible body would enhance his ability to perform and compete. Carl believes that core stability is the center of every person's athletic potential and basic functional movement. He specializes in cardio endurance, speed training, core stabilization and resistance training. He uses a mixture of weight training, kettle bells, circuit/interval training, Swiss balls, and Bosu balls as well as kickboxing and martial arts. Carl believes that keeping your body challenged with variety is the key to fitness success. His motivation is to give people the tools they need for success in whatever their aspirations may be.
JESS WILLIS has been an AFAA certified group fitness instructor for the past 12 years leading classes of all genres ranging from step, sculpt, indoor cycle, core and muscle pump. Recently Jess made the natural progression of her extensive fitness knowledge base in the group setting to become a certified personal trainer. She knows how busy life can be and how precious our time is; therefore she likes to make the most out of every minute with her clients. This means she will keep you moving, working, sculpting and sweating from the moment your session begins until you leave for home and all with a smile on her face! Jess truly enjoys every drop of sweat and tears you may produce.
